Move IP Symcon to other computer

Hello:

I have a new computer and I have tried to move IP Symcon to my new computer but when I open ips_console, it doesn’t detect any local network.

I have been trying two hours and nothing. I don’t know what to do.

And when it detects the network it can’t connect.
The message is: the selected server does not respond. Please make sure it is running!

how do you move IPS?

  1. stopp the service on the old computer.
  2. copy the whole IPS-Directory to the new computer.
  3. start the ips_tray.exe. You will be noticed, that the service is not installed and asked if you would like to install it. Do it.
  4. perhaps you will be noticed that the service is not running and asked if you would start it. Do it.

Does the local console now find IPS and can be started?

After doing a few times the same way to copy the program it finally works…
