What was it about?
For simplified billing, consumption should be recorded digitally so that it can be easily determined using the Consumption within Timespan" module. In addition, the currently required power can be assigned to the berths at any time.
Which systems were used?
In order to be able to integrate the high number of devices, 4 M-Bus gateways from Symcon were installed. Each gateway operates around 25 M-Bus meters.
How was Symcon used?
The gateways used come directly from Symcon. Together with the M-Bus interface of the SymBox, all meters were summarized in the Symcon software and every value change was recorded. In order to be able to read the meter reading for the duration of a stay, the "Consumption in time period" module was used.
Conclusion
Since the meter readings of all docks are now recorded digitally, monitoring and reading them is now easier than ever before. Thanks to Symcon's flexibility, even more aspects can be automated and monitored in the future to offer visitors even more convenience.
