Get even more out of your Symcon system with these extensions. There are specialized extensions for many different professional use cases, which you can use quickly and easily in your project.

Localization

Translate your entire Symcon system into the language of your choice with a single click. Adjust the translation of individual terms later if required.

Assign visualizations

If you are using an extensive project for an apartment building, each resident should still have their own access to their apartment. This can be implemented conveniently thanks to virtual hosts. Each resident receives their own URL, which opens their visualization directly instead of having to laboriously search for it from a long list. For you as the administrator, everything remains one system and can be easily maintained.

Mirroring

In order to enable high availability of Symcon, several physically separate systems can be operated in parallel. If one system fails, another can take over all tasks.

Synchronization

If you use several decentralized Symcon systems, you can collect them in one system thanks to synchronization and cleverly combine the data. The remote systems integrate seamlessly into the server system. Using the remote data is then just as straightforward as with local data.

User administration

Regulate access by employees and customers with user management. For example, enable a visualization for all technicians to which customers should not have access. Optionally, the Symcon user administration can be synchronized with an existing LDAP system.

BACnet

With the BACnet extension, Symcon can act as both a client and a server. This means that different BIBBs can be added to your Symcon system with ease.

OPC Unified Architecture

This extension allows Symcon to act as an OPC UA client. The values of nodes can be automatically monitored and changed by all means available to Symcon.
