IPS_GetAllocatorStats
string IPS_GetAllocatorStats ()
Returns
Multi-line text with the statistics of the memory allocator
Description
This function is intended for internal use only and may change or be removed at any time without notice.
The function returns the statistics of the memory allocator IP-Symcon uses to reserve memory as text. Content and format depend on the allocator in use and are taken over unchanged from it:
| Platform | Allocator | Return |
|---|---|---|
| Linux, macOS | mimalloc | Output of mimalloc (table with heap, page and segment statistics) |
| Linux (diagnostics builds) | jemalloc | Output of jemalloc (malloc_stats_print) |
| Windows | System allocator | "The system allocator is in use. No statistics are available." |
The notice of the system allocator is returned in the configured language. The output is intended for troubleshooting and not for automated evaluation. The memory occupied by the allocator is additionally recorded in the series "Allocator" of IPS_GetStatsHistory.
Example
// Output the statistics of the memory allocator
echo IPS_GetAllocatorStats();
